A starlit Day of the Dead tribute at Terlingua Cemetery.

Description

Under a starry sky, the grave of Jacobo Villalba (1903-1931) is adorned with an ofrenda, or offering, for the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Loved ones have left a colorful wreath, a votive candle decorated with a calavera (sugar skull), and glasses of water to honor his memory and welcome his spirit back for the annual celebration.
