A replica of the famous "Magic Bus" from the story of Christopher McCandless sits abandoned in the desert near Cantil, California. This bus was a prop created for the 2007 Sean Penn-directed film "Into the Wild," which chronicled McCandless's attempt to live in the Alaskan wilderness, where he ultimately perished in the original bus.
